EuroCucina 2018

Here at Kitchen Mania we are passionate about all things kitchens! We constantly scan the world to make sure we incorporate the most up to date, functional and economic products in our kitchens. We also invest a significant amount into the professional development of our amazing team.

Every second year we send some of our team to the EuroCucina trade fair in Milan, Italy. EuroCucina is widely known as one of the largest and most innovative kitchen trade fairs in the world. This year more than 300,000 visitors are expected and will be greeted with a vast array of top quality goods. All the exhibits at EuroCucina embody contemporary design, technological innovation, next generation performance, energy efficiency and ease of use. New shapes, colours and materials will help mark out the kitchen as a place for conviviality and interaction with the outside world. 

Our team of design consultants have been running a competition over the last few months and we are excited to announce that we have chosen Mark and Dom as the two well deserving winners to travel with our sales manager and CEO to EuroCucina 2018!

Mark and Dom, and our Sales Manager Chris leave for Europe this week. They fly into Zurich and will travel by bus to visit the Blum factory in Austria for two days. There they will experience a tour of the many Blum production sites and learn from the very best in the industry. They will see all of the Blum innovations and technology first hand and are excited to incorporate these into their kitchen designs when they return!

From Austria they travel to Milan to meet our CEO Carl for a week of EuroCucina! Staying at a beautiful villa on Lake Como they are excited for early morning boot camps with our fitness-mad Chris and then travelling by train each day to the show in Milan. We're excited for the guys to experience the truly magnificent show with its mind blowing innovation, technology and design. Some say that in New Zealand we are about 5-10 years behind the kitchen developments of Europe. But we want to be the change, we're immersing our staff in the here-and-now of European kitchen design and bringing it back to the contemporary New Zealand home today!

When they return they will bring the rest of the company up to speed with all that they have seen, learnt and done before the entire team of design consultants travel to a more 'local' show  AWISA 2018 in Darling Harbour, Sydney in July.
