The owners of this beautiful kitchen have a very busy lifestyle and a young family. Their previous kitchen was built in the 1930s and was no longer functional. It had cupboard doors that were falling off and no working triangle. They were keen to open up the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and enclose a nib wall to create extra space and flow within their kitchen.
Chris designed a stunning black, white and woodgrain kitchen that is spacious and and an absolute pleasure to work in. There are clearly designated areas for cooking, cleaning and storage and well thought out cabinetry for ease of use.
The kitchen functions perfectly for the young family, there is space for everyone and the breakfast bar is the perfect spot for the kids to do their homework while mum and dad are in the kitchen. We love the use of black handles, tapware and bar back to really tie the space together. The kitchen is finished perfectly with a 40mm Silestone Eternal Statuario bench top with waterfall end.
