For best results use streak-free glass cleaner with a soft cloth. IMPORTANT! Never use any of the following abrasive cleaners on Laminex® or Formica® Melteca®:Jif™, Vim™, Ajax™, Chemico™, Brasso™, Oven Cleaners, neat Janola™, Wire Wool, scourer pads or sandpaper.
Engineered Stone requires little maintenance to keep the surface looking like new. For everyday routine cleaning, we recommend the use of E Stone's specialty every day care products that are designed specifically and exclusively for cleaning stone. They also assist in protecting the surface from staining. You can use warm soapy water (containing a mild detergent) and a damp cloth or alternatively use a quality spray and wipe type cleaner. Before the use of any cleaning product outside of E Stones product range please check that the product does not contain trichlorethane, methylene chloride or high levels of alkaline/pH. Should the surface be accidentally exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.

That’s what we do! We enjoy meeting people in their old kitchens, it helps us come up with the very best ideas and designs.
Only if they are asked to do the baking! Good chefs never clean up after themselves but our installers will leave the kitchen clean and ready for the most discerning chef to use.
Engineered Stone will tolerate brief exposures to moderately hot temperatures, however prolonged direct contact with or radiated heat from very hot pots can cause thermal shock, discolouration or damage. Therefore we do not recommend placing hot pots, pans, and oven trays directly from the hotplate or out of an oven onto the surface. We always recommend the use of a hot pad or trivet to place hot items onto.
For removal of these or if you wish to give your Stone benchtop a thorough clean we can recommend and supply the correct product. When scrubbing the surface we recommend using 3MTM ScotchbriteTM Non Scratch All-Purpose Scrubbers. These can be used without damaging the stone. To remove adhered materials like food, gum and nail polish, first scrape away the excess with a sharp blade. If there are any grey metal marks on the surface, a mild detergent will remove them. Household bleach can generally be used as an effective cleaner to remove stubborn marks, but because some products are considerably stronger than others we recommend our Brand of cleaning products.
Engineered Stone like all Stone is similar to glass, and like a glass table top, if you hit the edge with something hard with enough force, you can damage the edge. So take care around the sink when washing cast iron pans etc. Also take care loading and unloading the dishwasher. If an accident occurs it can be repaired by one of our trained technicians. The repair will be just that, not a complete fix meaning that you may notice the repair.
After you've poured out your smoothie, fill the blender half way with water. Turn the blender on for a few seconds and then rinse out - done!
You can use a fresh peeled potato or white vinegar to remove stains from your skin.
If you're unsure wether your eggs are fresh, submerge them in about 10cm of water. If the eggs sink, they are fresh. If one side of the egg floats it's not as fresh and should be eaten soon. If the egg floats entirely it's past its use by date!
Don't store tomatoes and citrus fruits in the fridge - the low temperature take away some of the taste and aroma from these fruits
The consultation is free for you! Although it does cost us, so all we ask is that our customers are seriously looking to buy a kitchen at the time of the consultation.
What's your budget? Our kitchens have ranged in price from $7k-50k + depending on size, materials and components. From the initial consolation our designers will work with you to design a kitchen that meets your budgetary needs. There's no point in us designing something that's either way over or way under your budget so its best to get the budget chat done first.

Absolutely! We know it's not always possible to do an in-home consultation, especially when that home isn't built yet! We'll organise for you to sit down in the showroom with one of our designers so they can run through all your wishes for the kitchen project. There are lots of variables when it comes to quoting a kitchen and we've found this to be the most straightforward process for you, and us.
Our staff are all busy working in the showrooms on Saturdays and are home with their families on Sunday, but we'll work around your commitments during the week.
Absolutely - we can do as much or as little as you like. Our sister company Professional Installations can take care of all your plumbing, electrical, building, plastering, painting, tiling needs.. you name it!
