Design Brief Maree and James wanted to create a space fit for a young family, with function and practicality at the forefront of the design.  With that in mind they created a kitchen with multiple working zones for the whole family to be able to enjoy the space together. 

They were focused on maximising the storage space within the kitchen and entry area utilising Blum and Hafele storage solutions to achieve this. By continuing the cabinetry into the entry space and adding bench seating/coat storage they were able to fully utilise the space available.

The Melteca Possum, paired with Melteca Ash White with pops of brushed brass, tied into the warmth and homely feel that is seen throughout the house. 

As the kitchen is the first thing you see as you walk through the front door, they knew the importance of creating an inviting and sophisticated entry point. They were able to achieve this by having a waterfall end on the entry side of the island so you are struck with the beauty of the Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo selected for the kitchen.
